This 7-day Yunnan expedition offers a spellbinding blend of high-altitude adventure, UNESCO-listed cultural treasures, and immersive ethnic encounters, designed for travelers seeking both physical challenge and spiritual enrichment. The journey begins in Kunming, China’s “City of Eternal Spring,” and ventures into the heart of the Himalayas’ eastern foothills, traversing sacred mountains, alpine lakes, and ancient trade routes.

-Cultural Immersion: Learn Dongba hieroglyphs with Naxi masters in Jade Water Village, spin prayer wheels in Dukezong Ancient Town, and dance at a Mosuo Bonfire Night in Lugu Lake, home to China’s last matriarchal society.
-UNESCO Heritage: Wander Shuhe Ancient Town, a quieter extension of Lijiang’s World Heritage Site, and marvel at Baishuitai, a travertine terrace landscape shaped over millennia.
-Natural Spectacles: Stand before the roaring Tiger Leaping Gorge, cruise Lugu Lake on hand-carved canoes, and ascend Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (5,596m) via one of China’s highest-altitude cableways.
